A LITTLE ABOUT THE PERSON BEHIND THE PROJECT
MEET RYAN
Hi, I’m Ryan.
Depression and anxiety have played a role in my life for nearly 20 years. And like so many people like me, I struggled alone whilst I tried to find parts of myself I could rely on. Through sheer delusion and stubbornness, I survived.
I didn’t have a support network to help me get here. I’m one of the lucky ones. I want to extend that hope to people without sending them to therapy, without putting them on medication, without making them feel like a number.
And so the Coffee&Co. Project was born.
The concept is simple: we buy your coffee, and you pay, not with money, but with kindness to somebody else. An anonymous note left behind for a stranger to read when they might need it the most.
Words save lives, but oftentimes saying it out loud is the hardest part. A mental health illness makes you feel isolated. Like nobody understands. My goal is, note-by-note, to help people realise they deserve to live even when their brain tells them they don’t.
